Moorpark is a city located in the southeastern part of Ventura County, about 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The city was named after the moorpark apricots which grew in the area. Moorpark's motto is "Life Can be this good."
The fabulous location with spacious mountain views, pleasant climate and historical western charm, makes Moorpark a great place to live, work and visit. Several events are held in the city throughout the year such as, American Civil War battle reenactments in early November, and the "Apricot Festival" in the summer.
